SCSB was founded by Dr. S. Seager who was the first to report live births from the use of frozen canine semen in 1069. To date, thousands of puppies have been born utilizing techniques derived from those first reported by Dr.Seager. Semen stored over 20 years has resulted in live, health puppies. Pregnancies have resulted from semen shipped to many parts of the U.S. and Europe. Six generations have been bred using the Seager method with no increase in genetic faults.
